About
Vision
Our desire is to help provide established and emerging organizations with the ability to raise the funds required to provide their services where and when needed.
Mission
Due to the designation of The MatchingFund organization and diverse backgrounds of its board and advisors we have a unique ability to respond quickly to the emerging needs of our communities.

Story
The founder of The MatchingFund had a friend whose son had developed a cancerous brain tumor. His efforts to donate to a cause that would benefit his friend’s son lead to a realization of how hard it was for charities to raise funds and meet the emerging needs of their communities.
What started as a short mission to help a charity rise funds quickly turned into a mission to provide a way for charities to quickly raise funds to meet the ever changing needs of their communities.
Thus The MatchingFund was founded. We obtained our 501(c)(3) designation with the IRS approval to provide funds to any type of nonprofit organization. This allowed us to organize in a way to quickly provide funds for a wide range of ever changing community needs.
Our Impact
The MatchingFund has helped charities raise $615,919 with matching monies of $208,817. Almost three times the amount of the matching funds provided.
Thanks to your generosity The MatchingFund has provided funds for over 120 fundraising campaigns for 90 different organizations. The fundraisers have provided emergency operations for animals left at animal shelters, funds for safer biking and walking paths, a new roof for a lady’s home who has spent her life helping others and many many other needs.
During this time of uncertainty, our efforts to help provide for emerging community needs has to be stronger than ever. We have redoubled our efforts in making clean water, food and clothing more accessible to those most at risk during this time.
